Privacy Policy
Last updated: [date]
Finywell is designed to respect your privacy. This policy explains what the app does and does not collect. In plain terms: Finywell is built to work on your device, and it does not require an account.
Your data stays on your device
Finywell is local-first. Your quests, progress, vitality, and everything you create are stored locally on your device. We do not run servers that hold your personal content, and your adventure is not uploaded to us.
Anonymous usage analytics
To understand how the app is used and improve it, Finywell collects anonymous, aggregated usage signals through TelemetryDeck, a privacy-first analytics service. These signals do not include personally identifying information and are not used to track you across other apps or services. Examples include events like completing onboarding or finishing a focus session, with no names, emails, or content attached.
Purchases
Subscriptions are processed by Apple and managed through your Apple ID. Payment information is handled entirely by Apple under Apple's own privacy terms. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status; this is tied to an anonymous identifier, not to a personal account you create with us.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not require you to create an account or give us your email to use the app.
- We do not collect the content of your quests, missions, or reflections on our servers.
Your control
Because your data lives on your device, you remain in control of it. You can export your data for safekeeping, and deleting the app removes the data stored on your device.
Children
Finywell is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and revise the date above.
